Luxor Day Trip from Sharm El-Sheikh – An Unforgettable Historical Day!

Embark on a wonderful journey with us to discover the treasures of Pharaonic civilization in the city of Luxor – the largest open-air museum in the world!

Detailed Itinerary:

The Colossi of Memnon
We begin our visit with massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III seated on his throne. Interestingly, ancient Greeks named them 'Memnon' because they saw a resemblance to their mythical hero, and the name has stuck to this day despite being inaccurate.

Lunch on the East Bank of the Nile
Afterwards, we take a boat to cross the Nile River to the East Bank, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at 'Maru' restaurant.
Note: Drinks are not included in the lunch price.

Banana Island (Optional)
For those interested, Banana Island can be visited for an additional fee. A pleasant trip amidst greenery and fruits.

Karnak Temple – End of the Trip
We reach our final stop: Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in ancient Egypt and an important religious center during the New Kingdom period.
The temple was built over a period of more than 1,300 years! Around 30 pharaohs from different eras contributed to its construction.
You will see:

• Temples dedicated to the god Amun-Re, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu
• A sacred lake
• The famous 'Scarab' statue, which is said to bring wishes true if you walk around it!

🕗 Return to Sharm El-Sheikh
After a day full of history, we return to Luxor Airport in the evening and arrive in Sharm El-Sheikh around 9:30 PM.
